GENERAL INFORMATION
How do I buy passes?

You can purchase passes through our Buy Passes page on our website here or call Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000!

What time does the festival start and end each day?

Gates will open around 2pm and will close around 11pm.

Can I come on site and sell stuff?

No. Vending of any kind is strictly prohibited on and around Northerly Island and the Museum Campus, including in and around the parking facilities. This will be strictly enforced.

Is there an age limit to get into the festival?

Nope, we welcome all ages! Children 6 and under can come for free and will not need a wristband.

What ADA accommodations are at the festival?

In the Festival: There are ADA viewing platforms spread throughout the Main Stage floor, along with ADA restrooms throughout the venue. In addition, the VIP Lounge Reserved area is fully accessible with a ramp to the patio and lower level, and an elevator to the top level, along with an ADA restrooms facilities. Parking - ADA shuttles: Upon request within the parking lots, a shuttle will be provided to guests needing additional assistance. Guests can reach out to security patrolling the parking lots to radio for the shuttle. The shuttle will drop off at the Adler Planetarium and be able to provide service after the show, however, please be patient as it will need to wait until pedestrian traffic clears to be able to get back to the Adler drop-off for additional pickups.

Is there tailgating allowed in the parking lots?

Sorry, no tailgating will be allowed.

What's the policy on leaving and re-entering the festival during the day?

You will be able to enter and exit the Festival twice a day for whatever reason you see fit, lots to do in The City of Chicago! If you need to enter and exit more than twice a day, please see a guest services representative at the festival!

Questions with your ticket order or account information?

Please call Ticketmaster at 1-800-653-8000 and they will be able to assist you with ticket order or account information.

How do I get expedited entry into the festival?

Festival attendees enrolled in TSA Pre✓® gain expedited access into the festival by skipping the general public entrance, and entering the festival through the “Fast Pass by IdentoGO®” lane by presenting their Known Traveler Number. Head to www.universe.com/fastpasschicago to reserve your IdentoGO Fast Pass and skip the lines! Want to enroll for TSA Pre✓® onsite? Simply present a government issued I.D. and birth certificate (or passport) and $85 credit card payment and receive your IdentoGO Fast Pass.

We’re excited to have the opportunity to enroll fans for TSA Pre✓® on-site at this year’s LakeShake Festival! Don’t forget to bring: $85 (credit card only) and your birth certificate (or passport) to the IdentoGO booth.

Need a Sign Language Interpreter?

We are happy to tend to the needs of our ADA patrons. If you'd like a sign language interpreter, all requests must be received at info@lakeshakefestival.com by June 2nd.

Do you sell alcohol?

We do to those who are of legal age and have a legal state ID.

What can I bring into the venue?

Allowed in the venue:

  • Binoculars
  • Non-professional cameras (fits in your pocket)
  • Blankets
  • Backpack or small purse (searched upon entry)
  • Extra Clothes
  • 1 Factory Sealed or Empty Water Bottle of any kind (except glass)
  • Food in up to a one gallon clear zip-lock bag
  • 6-pack size collapsible cooler
  • Non-aerosol bug spray and sunscreen
  • Strollers
  • Lawn Chairs
What CAN'T I bring inside the venue?

Items Not Allowed:

  • Professional cameras (anything with a detachable lens)
  • GoPros
  • Audio Recording Equipment
  • Video recording devices (other than cell phones)
  • Pets/Animals (SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY)
  • Musical Instruments
  • Alcohol or beverages of any kind (other than factory sealed water)
  • Knives/Weapons of any kind
  • Chains/Chain Wallets
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Umbrellas
  • Tents of any kind
  • Wagons
  • Signage over 12”x12”
  • Laser lights
  • pens or pointers
  • Aerosol cans of any kind
  • Toys, water guns or squirt guns

Can I bring in my own food and drink?

You may bring:

  • Factory Sealed or Empty Water Bottles of any kind (except glass)
  • Food in up to a one gallon clear zip-lock bag
  • 6-pack size collapsible cooler
  • All items are susceptible to inspection upon entry
  • We will also have concessions on site available
Can I bring in my medical prescription such as diabetic insulin?

You can, but please advise the security guard at the gate and they will call the medics who will assist you.

Do you have an ATM available?

Yes, we sure do!

Will there be a First Aid station?

Yes, ask any member of our team and they will direct you to the right location.

Will you have a place I can charge my cell phone?

Yes, we'll have a spot you can recharge your phone at the festival.

Wristbands
Where is Will Call and/ or the Box Office and the hours?

You can find our Box Office and Will Call at the Main Entrance of the festival (outside Gate 1).

Box Office Hours are:

Friday, June  23: 10a-9p

Saturday, June 24: 12p-9p

Sunday, June 25: 12p-9p

 

What happens if I lose or break my wristband prior to the festival?

Don’t lose or break it. Wristbands that have been tampered with will be void and lost wristbands cannot be replaced for any reason.

Can I slide my wristband off and give it to my friend to use?

No, your wristband needs to be on tight enough that it does not slide off and is good for just you only.

Are the passes good for all three days?

We have 3-day and single day passes. If you purchased a three days festival pass it will be good for the entire weekend. Your single day pass will only be good for the day you purchased. You can not go any one day of the festival. The single day passes will be assigned to a specific day.
